About James Caldwell

 

 

Over the past 20 years, James has served as a counselor, teacher, speaker, consultant, and a Children’s television show host. During that time, he has presented school assemblies on bullying, drug prevention and character development to over 2,000,000 students across the country. His work with children earned him a regional Emmy and a Parent’s Choice Award. James, a native of McKinney, Texas, holds a M.Ed in Counseling from The University of North Texas and a BS in Psychology from Southwest Texas State University. He is a member of the American Counseling Association, a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas and is a certified Olweus bullying prevention trainer.

In addition to maintaining a private practice in marriage and family counseling, James is currently the Safe Schools Coordinator for the Frisco Independent School District in Frisco, Texas where he oversees bullying, drug and suicide prevention for staff and students. James, his wife Stacy, and children Blakeley and Collin reside in Melissa, Texas.
